IMPLEMENTING '' MAKE A MATCH TECHNIQUE ''IN TEACHING VOCABULARY TO THE FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS AT SDN 8 MAKALE.

Teaching Vocabulary to The Fourth Grade Students at SDN 8 Makale (
supervised by Dr.Drs Nehru P. Pongsapan, M.Pd and Sushy Teko Patanduk,
S.S., M.Pd ).
This thesis focused on teaching vocabulary of the Fourth Grade Students
in SDN 8 Makale. The problem statement of the research: Is the “Make a Match
Technique” effective used in Teaching Vocabulary to the Fourth Grade students at
SDN 8 Makale ? . the objectives of this research was to know whether of Make a
Match Technique effective used in Teaching Vocabulary to the Fourth Grade
Students at SDN 08 Makale or not.
This thesis applied pre-experimental method. The researcher got the score
by using a test namely pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was
the students of the Fourth grade of students at SDN 8 Makale. The sample was
taken by using total sampling. The number of sample was 16 students.
The result of this research showed that there was significant difference in
pre- test and post-test after using this method. The result of the data analysis
showed that the score of to (tcount) and gathered from SPSS 25, it showed that to
was higher than ttable. The findings of to was to

, so that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the
alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It concluded that the Make a Match
Technique is effective used in teaching vocabulary to the Fourth grade students at
SDN 08 Makale.
