USING MEDIA CANVA IN LEARNING ENGLISH AT SMP NEGERI 1 MAKALE UTARA

The aim of this research is to determine the use of interactive learning media Canva in improving student learning outcomes in English subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Makale Utara. In this research, the author used quantitative methods. The respondents in this research were students from class VIII F of SMP Negeri 1 Makale Utara. In this study the author collected data through pre-test and post-test which was carried out using an oral test. The author took 30 students from SMP Negeri 1 Makale Utara.
The results of the research finally concluded that the answer to the research question regarding the using canva in teaching english at SMP Negeri 1 Makale Utara, the author concluded the use of interactive media Canva in improving student learning outcomes in English subjects at SMP Negeri 1 North Makale. This is proven by a significant increase in scores after students were given treatment in class. This is evidenced by the post-test average value being higher than the pre-test average value (75.33 > 50.67) and the t-test results, the ttest value is higher than the t-table value (8.958 > 0,3610), this shows that Canva media is effectively used in improving the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Makale Utara.
