Purpose of this study is to determine the needs of English speaking for tourism and hospitality of the local people in the tourist destinations in North Toraja regency. In this study, the method used by the researcher is a quantitative
research design by conducting a survey on English speaking for tourism and hospitality of the local people in the tourist destinations in North Toraja regency. In the researcher randomly selected 5 local people in each tourist destination as respondents in North Toraja Regency. Based on the result a data analysis, the needs of speaking for tourism and hospitality at tourism destination in Toraja very needed for tourism and hospitality, for fulfill job responsibilities in the tourism sector, to speak fluently,
for tourism organizational and to intercede.
