ANALYSIS OF CULTURE SHOCK IN TEACHERS' RECIPROCATION TOWARDS THE TORAJA ENVIRONMENT AT SD KRISTEN 2 RANTEPAO

This research is based on a problem in which recruitment teachers who have completed their
education at the campus of the University of Pelita Hope, began to be placed and served in
the Christian SD 2 Rantepao experience Cuture Shock to the environment in Toraja. This
study aims to describe the culture shock in teachers recycling the Toraja environment at
Christian SD 2 Rantepao. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data
collection techniques used in this research are observations, interviews and documentation.
The results of the research showed that there was a culture shock in teachers recycling in
terms of language, weather, customs, habits and the politeness they found towards the Toraja
environment.
