Abstract

DORKAS D. 2024. OBSTACLES IN DETERMINING RESEARCH TITLE FACED BY THE STUDENTS OF ENGLISH STUDY PROGRAM AT UKI TORAJA. (Supervised by Judith Ratu Tandi Arrang, M.Pd. And Viktor Siumarlata, M.Pd.).
Purpose of this study is to determine the obstacles experienced by Students of English Study Program in determining research titles. In this study, the method used by researchers is a quantitative research design using a questionnaire sent to 25 students of the English study program at UKI Toraja. Based on the results of data analysis, Students of English Study Program still face
obstacles related to interest, suitability with academic ability, Limited literature, personal motivation, Uncertainty of topic relevance, Limited time, Lack of knowledge, Limited resources, and Lack of ideas or inspiration in determining their research title.
